Android 7.1.2 stereo issue.

Good afternoon,

I purchased this stereo recently

And have a few problems I was hoping you can help resolve.

1) very poor radio reception. I only pick up 8 stations and they breakup all the time.

2) canbus shows the wrong door open. I have changed the rudder setting from left to right. But this makes no difference.

3) Aircon controls don't show on the stereo.

4) reserve gear turns the screen blank as no camera is there a way to disable this or show a picture of the car and sensors instead?

Any help with the above is very much appreciated.

Hi,
1.i suggest you add a signal amplifier to the antenna. https://www.autopumpkin.com/12v-univers ... oster.html
2.did you set one by one referring to the picture?

3.did your original streo show this kind of info? If not, our unit also doesn't show this because there is no such signal sent to the unit.
4.you can disable it.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Canbus is currently set to 01 VW&Skoda.

There does not appear to be an option for just vw.

The above setting doesn't make any difference when right or left is selected.

Disabling the other setting for reverse also makes no difference. When I go back into settings it is enabled again.

Also am I able to add short cuts or widgets to the home screen ?

Hi, 1.see picture ,and then also click apply and exit icon.

2. choose disable in the option "Prohibit reverse" .
3. the unit doesn't support create shot cut. If the widget appear on the widget menu, you can long press it and move to the home screen. If not, then you can not.

Thank you this resolved my issues.

However I have one more query. To solve the radio problem I purchased your dab unit as listed here:

I have poor signal but I think this is down to the aerial supplied and have ordered an alternative to try.

However I have an issue where it keeps say no USB device found or using the original app it just freezes at connecting.

If I reboot the unit this resolved the issue, for some time and then it will happen again. Is there a known issue with my stereo listed above and this dab unit?

Any help is very much appreciated.
