Hi hamishnotshamus, no. In fact, the DVR app built-in supports auto delete the old video files when the avalible memory is not enough for recording. If it accidently doesn't delete, you can try to manually format the sd card, and the next time will be ok. The reason why i suggest you contact the pumpkin customer or the seller is they can constantly tracking your issue and provide complete service for you including repairing or return or change.
