I posted yesterday but the post seems to have disappeared. I bought a RQ0367 car android head from Amazon Order #206-9064465-3696322 and installed it in my VW Passat B6 Estate. All working great except the battery is flat within a day or 2. I have checked the yellow constant 12v and red ACC switched wires are correct. I checked the current drain and with the radio off, the current draw cycles between 900mA and 400mA over aperiod of 3 or 4 seconds. Taking out the fuse for the radio, the current draw is 330mA and is the same if I re-install the original VW radio.
I am using the supplied Canbus decoder and I know that this may receive a constant 12v but if this is the case and it is this causing the drain, this is bad design. I am not prepared to start rewiring parts as I was told this was plug and play and would work in my Passat B6
Before I bought the Pumpkin unit, I looked at other Android heads and was told that some of them were not compatible with the Passat B6
Can anyone assist or confirm as I know other Passat B6 owners have had battery drain problems.
Thanks .. Andy

Re: Battery Drain - Passat B6 - 11-RQ0367(E)
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.
As we known, there is only a few of VW car which is not compatible with our unit when using the power cable with Canbus decoder.
Could you please tell us if the unit will turn off when you pull out of your ignition key?
If is, you can just use the power cable without Canbus decoder, then modify the red wire directly connected to your ignition positive pole.
Regards
