Steering Wheel controls on 2018 Ford Transit

I put my first Pumpkin unit in my 2014 Miata, and was able to connect the steering wheel controls directly to the unit with the KEY2 wire. The Transit is more complicated, so after talking to Metra, I ordered a collection of wire harnesses and an ASWC-1 box. Everything works, except the steering wheel controls. The ASWC-1 initializes correctly according to the LED, but the controls don't register on the unit. In fact, the unit seems to be locked up when trying to receive the signals, and I have to reboot. I've tried several combinations of KEY1 and KEY2 connected to the harness, but nothing works. Any help appreciated.

For the radio, I think it's ND0294B. As I said, I have two, that's the one support told me was in my Miata, and the one in the Transit should be the same.

According to the picture, connect key1 and GND to the square line position of the original car plug, and then set the steering wheel.

The connector in that picture does not correspond to the one in the car (2018 Transit). Pictures of connector attached.

If your ASWC box is not like the picture we sent,please check the picture beyond and connect 8 and 14.
By the way,what's exactly your car model and year???
