Restart after Standby (11-RQ0264-DE-A)

Hi,

i have the problem that my device is always restarting after a standby. I have set the radio to shut down after 30min acc off.
When I turn on the acc before that, the Radio wakes up and even the music plays for a sec. Then it just restarts
The funny thing is after a normal start in the morning (device was shut down) the device also restarts after a sec.

Any ideas?

Hi, the "standby" on the unit is used for turning on the unit without starting the android system which reduce the boot time.
If you don't set the shut down after 30min acc off, then if you restart the unit, it will take 20-30 second to boot.

I have the same problem on a different device BUT ONLY when I have my OBD2 bluetooth adapted connected to the unit. Removing it, solves the issue...

you are right rabe65. I disconnected my Bluetooth OBD2 Adapter and the problem was gone
Actually it would be nice I wouldn't have to disconnect it but this definatelly solved the issue.

same problem at the RQ0268E!
Have Pumpkin realize this behaivor?
Also funny: If the obd2 dongle is disconnected from the port, the pumpkin shows always this dongle as connected (blue icon) and paired!
I have to unpair it and the problem with restart after boot is gone!

Sorry for the late reply and the trouble caused.
We had got a new firmware which is used for solving this problem.
Here is the update firmware for RQ0268.

You can enter the Settings--About device--Version info to check the build number.

Changelog means a list of (detailed) descriptions of the corrections, not only a build number!

The new firmware is used for solving the reboot problem caused by the OBD2 adapter.
And it just has relation with the build number of the version information.
