Feature suggestion: Full remappable buttons

I would like it very much if all buttons could be mapped to different applications, just as the Nav button can be. For example, on my unit, the AMS button doesn't seem to do anything, and I'd like to map it to my music application.

The buttons except the Navi button are the factory default design and could not be changed at clients side.

Right, I understand that. I'm asking that you ask the factory to add that in a later version of firmware. You can say "no", but you don't know what your customers want if they do not tell you.

Hi.

I'd like to second this suggestion and perhaps extend it to include mapping the steering wheel (can-bus) controls so that they can be used with more than the default apps (which suck!)
