Few questions please;
Is there a firmware update so the screen will automatically close when powered off?
Model ND0172B
Also,
I am losing all saved radio stations and amazon music app login on each off/on cycle. Is there a fix for this?
Is there any way to change the home screen apps? Remove the Am/fm timer and clock? And add app widgets?
Is there a way to disable the muting of music when in reverse camera mode?
Is there a way to change the default android start up loop animation to a custom loop?

Re: Auto close for ND0172B
Thank you I will do those updates.
However you did not answer most of my questions?
Will these updates help with all of them?

Re: Auto close for ND0172B
I did the updates you provided.
Amazon music now starts without requiring a log on each time, so that’s fixed.
The screen still does not auto close on power off.
The radio station continues to always go back to 87.9 FM on power up
And the other questions I asked were never answered.
Can the home screen widgets be changed? I do not want AM/FM radio on the home screen, is this possible?
Do you have a guide on how to change the start up animation loop?
The updates only fixed the issue with Amazon music.
I figured out how to disable mute on reverse. That is working now as well.

Re: Auto close for ND0172B
Hi,
As the screen auto close problem, pls press the rst to restart the head unit.
If it still does not work, remove the car ignition key, and then measure whether the yellow wire inside the power cord of the car has 12V.
As the radio station, cross the red and yellow lines inside the power cord.
And the home screen apps can be changed, you can move them.
The start-up logo can be changed. The way is setting-factory setting- car logo.

Re: Auto close for ND0172B
Thanks I will give it a try.
Where is the rst button? Sorry this radio is still brand new and I don’t know it well.
When the car is powered off and on the radio still has all apps I opened running in the background. I am surprised if the constant 12v is not wired correctly. But I guess it’s possible.
I don’t think I explained well enough what I mean by startup animation loop. Yes I see how to change the startup logo. But not the screen which says Android after the logo. This is a startup animation loop in android which can usually be replaced with another file.
I suppose I will try to dig around myself for that. It’s not very important, just would be nice. I think it was called “dancing robots” file in the past or something like that.
The home screen apps can not be moved. Can you explain how?
I have tried to hold down on them and drag them away, this does nothing as they don’t respond to a long press. They just open regularly when I do this.
Some sort of guide would be excellent.

Re: Auto close for ND0172B
Hi,
RST is a little hole on the car stereo surface. You can use a needle or a little stick to reset.
I am sorry for that I just confirmed ND0172B can not change the apps on the home screen.
Thank you
Jammy

Re: Auto close for ND0172B
I crossed the yellow and red wires and it fixed the problem with the auto close and the radio station memory.
It’s really unfortunate the home screen can not be changed.
Android is supposed to have that kind of flexibility.
Is it possible an android version upgrade would allow this?

Re: Auto close for ND0172B
Hi,
We do not have this Android version upgrade now. So we also do not know whether the home screen can change or not.
We will try our best to try.
Thank you
Jammy
