buttons not illuminated

I installed my new 6,95" Unit correctly but the buttons are not illuminated. (58b connected to the orange wire of the Pumpkin cable set)
When booting the device, the buttons light up for a short moment but when I switch on the light, nothing happens.
Does anybody know the problem or better, the solution?

Hi,
Could you please first tell us your order number or product SKU?
Normally our universal unit just need to connect the ILL wire to your car light positive pole or ACC, then the button light will turn on when you switch on the light or turn on the unit.

Yes, the unit is connected as recommended. The positive wire from light switch (58b) to the ILL wire (orange in Pumpkin cable set).
While booting the system, the buttons light up for a moment but nothing happens, when I switch on the light.

Hi,
Maybe the car light wire was not right for the ILL wire of power cable. But you can enter the Settings--Factory settings(126)--Others to select the Key light, then click Apply and Exit, the unit will reboot automatically to save this settings, then check if the button light will switch on when turn on the unit.

Thanks for the hint. The buttons are illuminated now. But permanently and not only by night. Ok, for this moment it will be an acceptable solution.
I've another question to this machine but I think, therefore I've to open a new topic. The GPS system (igo) works properly but it contains no POI's. How can I activate the POI database and how can I fetch updates from time to time?

Hi,
The unit come with the free testing maps provided by the factory, it does not support to update via website, but if we got new map file from the factory, we can send to you.
And this maps have the POIs, you can refer the below attached picture.

If you still want to get more POIs, you can use other maps, such as Google map and waze.

Ok, but my map has no POIs. If I search for POIs, I get the message: no match found
and all possible POIs are displayed in grey (inactive).
That's the reason why I ask, how to activate them.

Hi,
You can go to the Settings--find place to check the previous attached picture.
Could you please take a photo about the inactive POIs and send it to us?
The POIs should have relation with the position you are.
