sku 11-rq1129 problems

Postby m20rsp » Thu Aug 25, 2016 6:17 pm

I have just installed a head unit purchased from your .co.uk site, order number 100001403

i have several problems so i think i may have a faulty unit

1. the system boots several times before being useable

2. the system looses all programmed radio channels and time settings even though it has permanent live to the yellow wire

3. the vehicle app doesn't work at all so no integration with the car systems such as heated seats or window blinds.

Hi,
Sorry for the troubles caused.
1. Could you please tell us if you used the OBD2 adapter? If is, we can send you the update firmware to solve the problem.
2. It maybe the canbus box problem, we will contact the factory to get the solution. Before that you can modify the yellow wire from our power cable side and directly connect it to your car battery.
3.You can go to the Settings--Control settings to check the headed seats and window blinds.

Hi
No I'm not using obd2 but I do plan to so if you could send the updated firmware it may help.
The yellow wire is already connected to the battery and even if I switch the unit off on the power button with the ignition on it still looses all settings.

Thanks for the quick reply, like the unit but don't like these problems.

Thanks, I have updated firmware and it has fixed the issue with the unit loosing it's memory so could have been corrupt firmware originally as I have not changed the wiring.
The vehicle app still doesn't work though and I'm gathering that this app controls the heated seats and window blinds.

Hi,
For the vehicle app not working, would you mind take a video to show the problem?
We need this information to check it and try to give you the positive solution.

Hi,
Sorry about this.
Please restore the factory settings, then try to install the two update apk again to check.
