Reversing camera and other

I have recently had your unit and camera installed and I am having an issue. The camer works fine then key is in the ignition but when I start the engine it distorts and finally cuts out. It also does not activate when the engine is on and I go into reverse.

The other things : I wanted to ask is can I change the setting so the drivers side Is changed as when I open drivers side door it shows the passenger being open.

Can I access a menu that will allow me to have a vw logo come up at start

Sorry for the troubles brought to you.
About the camera issue, it's caused by the unstable power supply from reverse light positive pole when you start the engine.
You can two way to solve it.
One way is to connect the reverse camera power cable to your car ACC wire.
Or you can ask the auto technician to add a relay to make the reverse light power supply stable no matter you start the engine or not.
About the door open massage issue, you can go to the Settings--factory settings(126)--others to set the "Rudder".
Please click Apply and Exit to save this setting.
If this does not help, we can send you a update firmware to solve this problem.
About the boot logo, you can also enter the factory settings--car logo to set the VW logo.

1. I have changed the logo (fix)
2. rudder option does not change the door open diagram.
3. I have connected my ipod which detects it but I can't select or play any music? just says the name of my ipod at the top.
4. can I change the clock widget?
5. can I use the GPS in any application?

Still testing features but happy with unit so far

About the iPod connection, you can only use the iPod which memory is within 64GB, and actually you can use play music through SD card/USB, even via bluetooth when connecting the phone.
This unit does not support the change the clock widget.
You can listen radio or play music when you use the GPS, but you need go to the Settings--GPS to turn on the GPS listen.
