Dash cam resolution issues/questions for dvr

If I use a 1280x768 720p camera, the builtin dvr app and the after market apps from the play store work perfectly.

If I use a newer high resolution 1920x1080p 15mp camera, the screen is blurry and very choppy and lags a lot. It operates the same in both the builtin dvr app and the after market apps from the play store.

I have the latest firmware for my model HU.

What is the max resolution camera the HU can support? I want higher resolution then 720p which doesn't have the best detail.

Hi,
This unit display screen resolution is 800*480, and it can support to play the 1080P video.
But it can only support 720p resolution camera, sorry about this.
