Hello,

I have tryed to update my Pumpkin Radio, because I want to find a Android 5.1 Version.
Today I know there is no 5.1 Version for my Radio Model availible.

Yesterday I have installed a wrong Android Version (I think) and now i can´t use any Buttons like Volume UP, or Down on my steering Wheel.
(BMW e46 Coupe from 2000)

Before I have installed the update, i had no Problems with the steering Wheel Buttons.. :

Hi,
Sorry to hear about this.
As you known, normally we don't suggest our client flash the unit, just like your result shown, it caused other problems.
We can send you the right original firmware, you can install it to check, hope some help.

Please show us the details about application and others menu in the factory settings.
It may have relation with the mixed factory settings.

i have tryed to install the update file you have send, but my Radio Abort the Installation. It dont accepted the file.

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply due to the Mid-autumn Festival.
You can check if you download the file which names "update.img" completely, put it into the root inventory of the FAT32 format empty SD card within 32GB, insert the SD card into GPS slot. Here is another forum for your reference.

Ah okay I have tryed to install the update via USB Stick...
Maybe that was the Problem

So now i have looked for the factory Settings:
APPLICATION:
BT-WQ_BC6 ; DVD-YES ; CanBus-24BMW(Union) ; TV-NO ; IPod-YES ; Radio- TEF6686 ; CanBusItem-No

I have try to Change the "CanBus Items" up to "01 RIGHT DOOR", but it haven´t fix the Problem..

Did the firmware solve the button not working problem?
If not, please try set the Canbusitem to "05GM" to check.

no it doesn´t fix the Problem..
I only can choose between "no" and "01 Right DOOR" by CanBusItem
