S07 KC-C0346 Issues - Need Firmware

Hello,

i've got a strange issue with the navi. Yesterday on the way driving home, i've opened up headlights, and then the navigation display gets black (but you can still switch songs, play, pause etc, but cannot see something on the screen).
After coming home, i've turned off the car, also the radio turned off, then i've cut the wire of the car battery, and put it back. Now i'm stuck on a so called bootloop, and i dunno how to get in the recovery mode, to flash the firmware and reset back to factory data.

Also i'vent got the firmware files. Could you please help me as soon as possible? I need the radio till saturday, I wanted to drive in holidays, but without car music / navigation that won't work.

Sorry for the late reply.
Regarding your issue, normally the unit display screen will become dimmer when you open up the headlights, but you can still see everything on the screen.
You can cut the orange illumination wire of the power cable from the side connected to our unit, then check if the problem happens.
And you can long press the RST hole about 10 seconds to get into the recovery mode.

Hello,

i've cut the orange wire, now the screen does not get black, but the radio still stuck on boot logo. i also cannot enter the recovery mode, the leds on the left are blinking white, but the screen is black and no menu like in video is shown. what else can i do?

Hi,
If you could not enter the recovery mode, the firmware is not useful for you.
We had sent you two kind of power cable, one is with canbus box, the other is without canbus box.
Please use the power cable without canbus to check if the unit will turn on noramlly and try to use the way I told you to enter the recovery mode.

Hello,

i found a way to sucessfully boot up that thing. Its working when i long press reset (about 20 seconds), then the leds are blinking white. now i press again about 4 seconds the reset button, the radio goes off. now i press the power button, and after ~ 15 seconds, the vw logo is shown, and the radio is booting up. but after i shutdown the radio, i cannot boot up anymore, and have to do the same prodecure with the reset button like written.

Can I maybe fix that thang when i'm at the android system?

Hi,
Please download the firmware to flash the unit when you long press the RST hole and enter the recovery mode. Hope some help.
