Random restart of SKU:12-RQ0360-UK-A

Hello,

I have two problems with my unit:
- first it restarts randomly?
This happens In various ways:
- I see black screen for a few sec, than I see the "normal" screen again
- I see "Power off, shutting down"--> than the unit reboot
But even when the unit restarts radio is still running.
- second, when I start the engine, and the unit boot up, the radio is very loud
+ a question in addition, I don't have reverse camera, but I have reverse radar in my car, in the original head unit I had this screen when I switched to reverse, is it possible to have similar on this PUMPKIN unit?

Sorry about this.
You can try to flash the unit to check.
In case the unit has some software problem, we have sent a SD card with firmware for this unit.
Please find the SD card, insert it to GPS slot, then go to the Settings and do the factory settings restore.
Or press the RST hole to reboot the unit to start the flashing process.

Did you mean that you could not find the SD card with the firmware file or the flash had no effect?

Hi,

First I thought that you are going to send a new card with a new firmware. Do you mean the card what came with the head unit, inserted in the GPS slot?
I tried to press the RST hole, the unit has restarted, but after ~30 min it switched off again. Is there any sign if the firmware upgrade/restore has been done successfully?

Sorry for the late reply due to the Mid-autumn Festival.
As I explained before, this unit RQ0360 should include the card with the firmware in case the unit has some problem need to be solved by the firmware.
Could you please double check the package content come with the unit?
Some of our clients installed the firmware and solved the problem like you had.

Hi,

I din't get such SD card, I got the unit, 1 SD card in the GPS slot, 1 GPS antenna and a few paper.
This is all I got.

Hi,
The package content at least should include the head unit, the power cable, the GPS antenna, USB cable, radio adapter etc..
Hope you can double check it.
If you miss it, we can ask the factory to provide the firmware link for your unit.
Then you can update the unit with it to check.
