Hello guys.

I just bought what it was advertised as a new Android 6.0 unit for my VW. All went well, good package, nice looking unit, until I booted it up on the car and found out that it was infact a 4.4 (API 19) rom saying 6.0.1. Apps read the version correctly and say it's KitKat, I can't even install some Android 5.0+ exclusive apps. Why advertise it 6.0 when it is 4.4?

Also my car steering wheel controls do not work, even having the canbus box there all connected.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

I tried to contact support for multiple times without any success.

About the steering wheel controls, this unit can support the car which the listing shown, so can you please tell us what kind of your car?

Just out of curiosity, what apps do you use to confirm the actual Android version on your unit?

Hope you can first tell us your order number.
As we know, it's impossible to test all the apps compatibility for almost aftermarket head unit suppliers.
Even the smartphone and head unit have the same android version, there still have difference between them.
