Hi,
There is a risk of using the update firmware, especially when the unit works as it should be.
You can keep and save the firmware in case the unit has some system software problems, at that time, you can flash the unit with the firmware and try to solve the problem.

Hi, i have noticed that you guys have released a Pumpkin head unit with Android 6.0 marshmallows. Is there any updated so i can able to updated my current version into Android 6.0 marshmallows?

But why can't Pumpkin produce and develop such firmware for the costumers aswell ? To buy a head unit from Pumpkin worth between $350-$400 USD and not able to update to a new version is just pointless !
