Howdy,
just bought this unit via Amazon.

FM volume decreases when driving on Highway, increases when stopped.

Looks to me like an inversed automatic volume control.

Is there setting to disable this "feature" - or is it simply a bug?

Regarding your issue, you can press the RST hole to reset the unit to check.

I do not think a video makes sense. The unit is not even touched

Again, what happens is:

Driving on ... driving faster on the freeway, the volume goes down. Can be adjusted.
When the car comes to a stop, the volume goes up

I cannot see how a video would help with an audio problem.
The unit is not even touched - no screen output change as well

Again, what happens is:
drive a slow speed and set the volume.
Speed up, highway 70mph ... volume goes down. Looks like while driving noise goes up volume decreases. If the is an automated volume change happening ... volume should go up, not down

Stop the car .... volume goes up

Sorry for the trouble caused.
About the volume decreasing itself issue, there is an new update firmware, you can install it to check.

Please download the "update.img" file through your browser, then copy it to SD card, insert the SD card into GPS slot, turn on the unit, go to the settings--about device to click the system update, then the unit will automatically start the recovery mode.
