Hey there, is there any way to update my radio to Android 5.1? Because I still have 4.4 but exactly this device is sold now with 5.1.

The new android 5.1 unit has been released, but sorry that the android 5.1 firmware is not available on the android 4.4 system.

But why? It is the same serial number. If they change something, the have to give it a new number. I also had an mistake in the topic of this thread. It is rq0368e, not rq0368q

The same serial number is due to the amazon platform rule limitation, sorry for the misleading brought to you.
Cause the unit has a little change inside which may cause the android 5.1 firmware not available on android 4.4 unit.

It's not so cool to have an android device and have no opportunity to update it. There is another brand with almost the same design, they make updates for the devices. So I think I chose the wrong company. Sorry for that.

ok, is there a way to install an different launcher like nova or apex? because the reason why i want another version of android is the ugly disgusting black menu and ugly dark surface.

EDIT: what code have i use to, to set the sensitivity of the mikrophone on a higher level? when i have a phone call, i have to speak VERY loud that the other person understand me

About the sensitivity of the microphone, sorry that our unit does not have this setting.
There is a microphone app which is specially designed for adjusting the BT phone call, please try to install it, hope some help.

Please close the window of the car and increase the volume both the unit and your phone.
