Pumpkin Unit for campers wanted, ATQU72 or RQ0269E

Hi Forum,

I am new and interested if an Pumpkin Unit is an alterative to an Old Schcool Double DIN like Alpine, Pioneer, JVC or Sony.

What I have seen some Pumpking Users complaining about Features.

And now I have seen then NEW AQTU72.

Here what I need to have:

The Unit shall have DAB+
It should aslo have DVB T Antenna,
Then Rear View Camera. Is is possible to have a double rear view camera?
Then I would like to connect a LCD TV to the unit and using the DVB-T for the big screen.

Now some remarks: The RQ0269E has a resolustion of 1024x 600 with Android 5. Since this unit is longer on the market, is the debugging of failures executed. The new AQTU72 is still the debugging phase but only has 800x 600. How comes.

Maybe you can give me a hint what is the best unit for me,

Hi,
I know the DAB+ function is very popular in Europe, but this unit does not support it now, sorry about this.
This unit has the aux-in port, so it can support to connect the DVB-T box which has external DVB-T antenna.
It's not possible to use the double rear view camera, our unit can support the normal after market universal rear view camera.
Our unit can also support to output the video from our unit to other display screen.
Cause we have many kind of units which have the different components and configurations , including the different resolution.
If you want to get the high resolution of 1024*600, you can consider our other units which have this resolution.

can you recomment a Naviceiver which fits for a Fiat Ducato 2017. I think 6,95" 178mm x 100 is the seize.

For DAB+ I have to buy an extra unit. Would you recoment Adroid 6.0 or 5.1.

If your original radio size is 178mm x100mm, both of our two kind universal unit can fit your car.
The android 5.1 unit can support the DAB+ function, but the android 6.0 currently does not support it.

Does the all modells using NXP TEF 6686 chipset.
I am looking for RQ0269E with DVD.

Does this unit has the NXP chipset or do you have two versions. The advertising does not say it.

Hi,
Different models may use the different chipset.
If you want get the unit which has DVD function, there are some other universal model for you to choose.
Cause the chipset is the strict file for factory, some of them don't allow us to write such information on our website.

Jammy do you mean the Pumpkin model RQ0261E which uses the NXP TEF6686 Chipset & DVD.

This is the one which I have ordered now. I hope I did the correct choice for my camper.

Do you recommend to use the phantom amplifier ?
I would like to add a DVB-T Module & a DVB + Module for digital radio.

My only concern is that the seize is 178mmx100mm will work. Double DIN NORM is 180mm x 100mm

It should go into a FIAT DUACATO from 2015,

This universal unit can support to connect the external amplifier, but it does not support the original amplifier.
The way we measure the size of the universal unit may have some differences.
Please don't worry about this, we have sold many universal units to your country and our client rarely encounter the size problem.

Can I use any DAB+ receiver or I habe to use the Pumpkin DAB+?

Hi,
You'd better use the Pumpkin DAB+ which work with the built in DAB module inside.
We are not sure if the DAB+ from other suppliers could work with our unit.
