Good morning.
I just received my Pumpkin 5.1 Android and opened the box just to notice a defect right away.
Both button surrounds are not in place. One is just completely loose. The other is in place, but not completely.
I waited two weeks for this and now i will have to send it back just for this??!! Is there no quality control in your company?
All that was needed was for someone to look at the device before putting it in the box. That simple!!
What are my options now?
Opening it and fixing it myself is probably not hard, but then if anything goes wrong later on someone will say i lost the warranty the minute i unscrewed the first screw...

Re: Just received a defective Pumpkin 5.1 Headunit
Hi,
Sorry for the unexpected issue happened.
Normally the unit will be checked before sending out, the button surrounds problem maybe caused during the transport.
There is high quality control in our company, we will not send the defect unit to our clients, that does not only bring bad impress to you, but also do harmful influence on our company brand.
You can try to open and fix it, please don't worry to break the warranty, in case the unit is broken, you can still send it back to us for a exchange or repair. Sorry for the trouble brought to you again.
Regards

Thanks for your reply
I already looked around and the only way of putting it back where it should be (the button surround) is by removing the volume knob/button.
Even disassembling is not going to work unless it comes off. I've looked.
How do i remove the knob? Just the rubber/plastic part.

Hi,
You just need to remove the front plastic part, and please be careful about the ribbon harness during removing.
Any assistance, please contact us freely.
