Hello,
My Order number is 500001242.
The Problem i have is that my phone connects automatically, but then my wife uses the car, has to manually choose her phone, and then in the next ride i make, i have to manually choose my phone again. That is very inconvenient.
Also i thought i could pair two phones at once?
Thanks for your Answer, regards,
Florian

Phew, I knew I shouldn't ask two things.
A phone should connect automatically. It is not normal to connect a phone manually. Please answer the main question.
Thanks.

Re: Android 6.0 Unit - phones doesnt connect automatically
Jammy,
Sorry maybe I misunderstood. Are you saying that if you want to connect a single alternative phone from the list you would have to do it manually is normal? Even if it is the only phone in the car?

Re: Android 6.0 Unit - phones doesnt connect automatically
I have Marshmallow Pumpkin Unit AQVW71. My Phone and the Phone of my wife are registered once a time.
If her phone is alone in the range of pumpkin bluetooth, her phone is connecting. If my phone is in the range area, my phone is automatically connecting. If both phones are in the area of bluetooth range, only one phone gets a connection. Its normal that only one bluetooth clients connects same time.
But our phones connects automatically.
Maybe you and your wife forbid on the bluetooth settings to connect automatically ?

Re: Android 6.0 Unit - phones doesnt connect automatically
thank you 1001, good to know it should be working. i assume we have the same unit, i never found my model number, but there is only one pumpkin with marshmallow on it, right?
I`ll look into it again. I think i have auto-connect enabled for phones in the pumpkin unit, maybe i'll look at the phones settings again, but they normally connect fine automatically.
Do you use android or ios phones?
thanks again,
Florian

Thank You 1001. I have ios phones and the other unit, 27-AQTU72-DE-A.
Can anyone else or Jammy confirm that this is working on the 27-AQTU72-DE-A?
thanks!

Re: Android 6.0 Unit - phones doesnt connect automatically
Hi,
Our technician tested the ios phones to connect your unit AQTU72 via bluetooth.
The result shown that the ios phones would not automatically connect the bluetooth on the unit when you turn off the bluetooth and again on the ios phones, not the android phones.
But the ios phones will automatically connect the bluetooth on the unit when you restart the unit.
Or if you turn off the unit first, after a few seconds, switch off the bluetooth on the ios phones. Then reboot the unit and turn on the bluetooth on the ios phones, in this situation, the ios phones will automatically connect the bluetooth on the unit.
That should have relation to the ios phone security protection program itself, hope your understanding.

Re: Android 6.0 Unit - phones doesnt connect automatically
Hi,
Thank you for testing. Here is my scenario maybe you can have a look:
1. pair iphone#1 and iphone#2
2. iPhone # 1 is connected, iphone#2 out of Bluetooth range
3. restart unit -> iPhone #1 is connected automatically
4. now, power off unit. Bring iphone#1 out of Bluetooth range, bring in iphone#2
5. power on unit -> iPhone #2 is not automatically connected
Bluetooth is never disabled on the iPhones.
I feel this should be working, but it doesn't
Thanks!
