S07 ODB bluetooth issues

I have the following unit:

Model S07

MCU version: MTCB-KLD6-V2.86
Android version 4.4.4_29032016
Kernel: 3.0.36+

I first tried the latest Torque app but still nothing, then did a Factory reset, installed the Torque app included on the unit but still nothing.

I bought a V-Gate OBD dongle which the unit sees when scanning but will not pair with it. Since trying to pair with it, any phone pairing is slow or doesn't work.

My OBD dongle works flawlessly with my phone, which is a dinosaur Samsung Galaxy S2.

Is there a firmware update available with a fix for this? Is it possibly caused by the unit not working with BLE?

Hi,
Could you please first tell us your order number or buyer ID?
For the OBD2 dongle, it maybe the V-Gate OBD dongle not compatible with our unit.
Please check the V-Gate OBD dongle Bluetooth pair password, if it's not as same as our unit Bluetooth pair code, please make sure they are same.
