Firmware for RQ0276E
Re: Firmware for RQ0276E
Thanks for all the feedback. Answering the questions in order
My Ebay id is hami5h.gray. the Transaction ID 6PW170391T791435S.
Original status
MCU-Version MTCC-KLD6-V2.97
Kernel-Version 3.0.101+
Build-Number rk3188-userdebug 22082016.17:46:35
Due to the minor response type issues I flashed the update using the below link from a post on this forum
https://mega.nz/#!ZYFCGIZY!vlVpc2S_zPiz ... xD2mRZkC60
This worked perfectly except it seemed even slower and was in fact turned out to be a step back in issue
New status
MCU-Version MTCC-KLD6-V2.97
Kernel-Version 3.0.101+
Build-Number rk3188-userdebug 05082016.16:30:02
Seeing a new version posted on the 7th Nov below
https://mega.nz/#!lFVVWS7Q!WvezHo2glWLu ... BNYnqVArUE
I flashed this via update in system menu
It stalled and after 30min I switched off and switched back on
It booted up with many error messages including the following
E:failed to mount /dev/cache /dev/block/rknand_cache (block device required)
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E:can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_ install
E:can't open /cache/recovery/last_ install
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_kmsg
E:can't open /cache/recovery/last_kmsg
It was in the system recovery menu.
I went to reboot and it booted into normal operational mode with as far as I can test everything working.
Status was still
MCU-Version MTCC-KLD6-V2.97
Kernel-Version 3.0.101+
Build-Number rk3188-userdebug 05082016.16:30:02
I then tried the https://mega.nz/#!lFVVWS7Q!WvezHo2glWLu ... BNYnqVArUE update again from the system recovery menu. update from SD card
Same errors again and no update
I have redownloaded the image from the links, no change.
I have flashed many android devices over the years without issues. I do know what I am doing
Tonight I input the factory settings root password and with a file explorer I can examine all the folders, many seem to be empty. eg Cache/ has nothing in it or sub folders
If you want I can check what is in what
Is it possible to create a SD card to enable boot and flash from SD card using create upgrade disk tool V1.4

Re: Firmware for RQ0276E
corrected the problem by creating bootable SD Card, put image on usb stick. booted from SD card then choose install image from usb stick. all now working

Re: Firmware for RQ0276E
Hi,
Normally you don't need to enter factory settings to change anything.
Could you please tell us what problem you had?
Here is a link of another version mcu for your unit, you can install it to check.
https://mega.nz/#!YElSyAhK!qUmyJCjNHudQ ... 1zIx_xKsYA
And you can also try no password to enter the factory setting, maybe there is a small system bug on our unit.
