Hi,
After discussing your issue with our technician, he said that the cabel number 21 power is integrated into the yellow wire which connect to your car battery, so when the unit turns off, it still get power and drain your car battery.
You can connect the power cable of the phantom power to the ANT wire from the power cable with canbus box.
Regards

Installed Pumpkin radio into my 04 Golf Mk5. Noted power drain after a few days. Reading on forum and noted that power was continous to radio.
Tapped power from back of fuse box, black wire switched by ignition, to red (switched) power on radio harness. Issue now resolved.

Hi Jammy
One week after having installed the 7" Android 5 head Unit in my Ford focus I could not start the motor this morning.
The battery was empty. My order# is 302-4808995-6777150. It is a focus Diesel Titanium with a keyless starting System.
I used the ISO cable adaptor which came with the unit without any changes.
Greetings

Hi,
Sorry for the trouble caused.
Regarding your issue, could you please tell us which power cable you used, the power cable with canbus box or the power cable?
If you used the power cable with the canbus, please check if the unit turns off when you pull out of your car key.
Please don't worry, we will try to provide you positive solution ASAP.
Regards

Hi,
I used the can bus box cable. Again: my Ford Focus has a keyless go system, so there might be some differences in the signal procedures, when starting/stopping the motor compared to a normal ignition lock. Hopefully, the can box takes that into account. ;)

Hi,
Sorry for my misunderstood.
There is only a few currents (3-5mA) on the unit when you turn off your car, so it almost does not drain your car battery.
Could you please tell us if the unit will switch off automatically when you press the starting/stopping power button on your car?

Yes, it does. But it seems, the unit shuts down more quickly, when I switch it off with the start/stop button of my car instead of using the power button of the head unit itself. So: is it possible, the unit's shut down is not complete?

Hi,
Our technician said that you could use the power cable without canbus to work with your car.
For the steering wheel control, you may need to connect the SWC wires from our power cable to your car, then enter the Key study to learn and use it.
