Skoda Superb Combi 2.0TDI (2014) issues with Modell11-RQ0368

s-l225.jpgI´ve got the same problem as mentioned by SvenTheBen in his topic.
Received my PUMPKIN Modell: 11-RQ0368 from pumpkin_cool today and wanted to install it in my SKODA Superb Combi 2.0 TDI (2014).
The existing Quadlock from my Superb fits in both adapters. But with the first adapter including the CAN bus-decoder the radio doesn´t start, no power! With the second quadlock adapter I can start the Pumpkin headunit, but can´t use the CAN bus functions of course.

Furtheron I have the same problem as dogarustfn: My AM/FM aerial FAKRA plugs from my former AMUNDSEN+ Radio don't fit into the aerial adapter that came with the stereo, the sockets are too close together and the plugs with the Pumpkin adapter are too big to fit them both in at the same time.

Could you deliver replacements or how can we solve the problem quickly?

Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.
Could you please first tell us your ebay buyer/user ID?
With respect of your description, it's possible that the canbus has problem, not compatible or just broken.
Does your car have the original steering wheel control?
If you don't mind, we can give you the instructions to modify the wire and make it work, but the steering wheel control will not work.
Or you can contact our ebay customer service to get a new canbus replacement to check, also with the proper radio adapter for your car.

I haven´t changed anything with my steering wheel control, so I expect that it´s still the original.
If I modify the wire according to your instructions, do I still have the warranty on my radio, it´s only a few days old?
Of course I don´t mind if you give me instructions, but the steering wheel control should of course work, too.
How can I contact your customer service? I think your latter recommendation would be best.

What about the problem with the FAKRA plugs? I think I need an adapter with Phantom feed. Am I right?

Hello Jammy,

solved the first and main problem at least partly this afternoon after I found your posting "How to check the unit which does not turn on".
Connecting the red and yellow wire according Situation 2 in your description brought the break-through.
Only thing is that I have to switch off the radio, when I leave the car. Removing the key is not enough. Is there any other possibility?

Also steering wheel functions are working very well so far.

So left is also the FAKRA-problem, but with your help we will solve that, too. Im sure.

Sorry Jammy that I write to you another time.
It´s because I noticed this evening that after connecting the red and yellow wires at my plug (as suggested in Situation 2) the
radio is still permanently connected to the power and surely will drain the battery, although I switch it off manually.
Connecting the red wire to the cigar lighter won´t help, too, because the cigar lighters in the Skoda Superb are permanently connected to the battery.
I hope you´ve got another idea to proceed.

Hi,
Thanks for your information to help us confirm it's the canbus compatibility problem.
After discussing your issue with our technician, we can send you a new canbus for your car and try to solve the problem.
We need to order it from factory, and it takes about 12-20 business days to arrive.
Before you get it, you can modify the red wire of the power cable near to our unit to the ACC wire which is powered off when you pull out your car key. Sorry for the inconvenience brought to you.
For the FAKRA-problem, you can just plug a one fakra of our aerial adapter, and then the radio function on the unit works.
If you want to make the two separate plugs of aerial adapter fit your close double fakra, you can try to modify one plug of our aerial adapter to fit.
Or we can send you another new aerial adapter.

thank you and Vanessa so much for your support.
I tried to solve the FAKRA-problem as you described, with one plug and both plugs, but my radio doesn´t find any stations in the search mode.
Only when I manually set a frquency I can get some weak signals.
I think that´s because my car uses antenna diversity, so that I need some solution with phantom feeding of my antenna(s).
That´s why it would be highly appreciated if you could send me another aerial adapter.

For the Fakra problem, you can contact Vanessa to get a new aerial adapter Y0172.
For the new canbus, we have ordered it from the factory, once it arrive to us, we will arrange to send to you ASAP.

Thank you Jammy,
but meanwhile I´m facing another problem.
This evening I wanted to start up my recently installed HERE-navigation programme. After filling in the destination adress and pressing START the screen of the naviceiver became whiter and whiter within a minute. After that I wasn´t able to get a HOME-screen any more. Switching off the radio and switching on doesn´t help. Only radio and DVD-function is O.K. - but I can´t navigate the naviceiver because I can´t see anything on the screen.

I know, we have winter time and landscape can be white, but I´m not lucky, if I have the same picture on my radio screen.

Hi,
For the Here navigation, it maybe the app not compatible with our unit, you can press the RST hole to reset the unit, then check if the problem still happens.
And you can also use other maps, such as waze, sygic, google maps.
