I've also found a setting in the driving menu that allows you to control what happens to your music when you select reverse gear. The default on mine was off i.e. I'd select reverse, the camera image would pop up on the screen - and my music would go off whilst I reverse. You can change this and have the options of a scale of 1 to 10 which means you can keep the music running but at a slightly lower volume. Good find. Hope this helps someone else too.
