Keycodes for swc functions in head unit

Postby sythe » Fri Dec 23, 2016 1:58 am

Do you have the specific keycodes corresponding to the swc factory selection buttons? I'm trying to use a 3rd party music software, but I want to retain swc for it other than system volume. I'm attempting to use another 3rd party software to map my swc's to normal android music player buttons, but it seems that your music player uses its own separate codes, which, if I knew, I could convert and apply them to my music player.

Hi,
Could you please first tell us your order number or buyer ID?
We need this information to provide you accurate and positive solution.
For the third party apps, our android units do not support it to be controlled by swc buttons.

Hi,
This unit only support the swc button to control the default music player.
We contacted the factory technician, they did not have the specific keycodes corresponding to the swc factory selection buttons.
I think the specific keycodes maybe the strict secret file for the third party software program company. Hope your understanding.

Thank you for inquiring. I was able to get the next/previous track functions to work with poweramp. I bought a joycon exr and wired it in parallel with the pumpkin swc wires. They didn't have the same signal voltage or internal pull-down resistance, so I had to put a diode inline with the joycon signal, and a 1 kohm resister inline with the pumpkin head unit. The joycon has to be pre-programmed on a windows pc, which I did with the usb port ground from my laptop and the usb ground on the pumpkin head unit tied together, to ensure the circuits were joined during programming. This enabled me to maintain the default up/down volume control through the head unit, and program two of my other buttons as generic media player previous/next functions that communicate through one of the usb ports. Though setting it up was a bit tedious, it works flawlessly now with 3rd party media players.
