Hi,

I am having trouble with my Pumpkin Stereo.

Firstly it crashes constantly and turns off and I cannot turn it back on with switching off the ignition.

Secondly the bluetooth does not seem to work.

I have googled the problems and I think I need the latest firmware and MCU update

Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.
Did you mean that the "EQ Settings has Stopped" problem happened after installing the firmware?
Please try to restore factory settings again to check.
If this does not help, I can send you the original mcu file.

Hi,

I have tried updating the MCU and the firmware again and performing a factory reset. I am still having trouble getting the "EQ Settings has stopped" coming up.

I am also having trouble with the steering wheel controls. Most of the buttons work (Vol Up and Vol Down etc.), but the android home and back buttons do not seem to work at all.

Is it possible to get root on this unit because I think I can fix the problems with this.

Sorry for the delay reply due to the three days holiday of New Year's Day.
For the "EQ Settings has stopped" issue, if it's convenient for you, please take a short video to help us check.
For the steering wheel control, this unit does not support all the button work with our unit, sorry about this.
I don't know the root way and the factory don't allow us root the unit, if you have the knowledge of the android system, you may try to do it.
