Just purchased it and want to know if there is a firmware update for it available? I'd like to go ahead and get it updated as I'm installing.

Hi,
For the firmware update, please first tell us the current system version.
In fact, normally we don't suggest our client do the update when the unit works as it's supposed to be.
But just like you said, you may need it to install some new apps or solve a few system software issue.
If there is a update firmware for your unit, we can send it to you.

One thing... I'm trying to install Navigon USA and I can't seem to get it to install to the SD area that has plenty of space. (I realize this should probably be a new topic but...)

Ideas?

Hi,
Most of apps can only be installed into the internal memory, a few apps can be installed into the SD area which also means Nand Flash.
And some other files, like the songs and video, can be automatically installed to the Nand Flash. Hope your understanding.

So, Navigon installs. it just needs to download and install some local map files. This fails due to the partitioning of the space in the radio. is there any way to re-partition or change the app install location? I'm not wanting to install to the sd card necessarily. i just need to be able to install the app and with only 1.6G of space on the / file system and 10G on the internal nand area I can't install apps. Not following why it was partitioned this way.

Anyone aware of an app or a way I can re-partition the storage?
