Trying to recover the unit from the infinite boot loop.
The trouble is, the updater does not see the SD card or the USB port.
How else can I perform the update? Please help.

Especially the SD card/USB stick storage size(within 32GB), the update.img file need to be put in the root inventory of the SD card or USB stick.
Here is the firmware for your unit.

Re: KD-C0224: can not update firmware
Jammy,
thank you for the swift reply. I took another 8Gb SD card, formatted it fresh to FAT32 and loaded the firmware that you have provided. This time round the update process completed successfully. However, the unit is still in the endless boot loop.
So far I've tried:
update system/mcu image from sd card
update system/mcu image from sd card and clear all
The unit is still in the endless boot loop.
Could you please tell me what does this option do:
wipe all data/factory and cache reset
If this is a factory reset to the bare bone unit as it came from the factory before you load any software?

Re: KD-C0224: can not update firmware
Hi,
If the update firmware could not solve the boot logo stuck problem, it's possible that the android board of the unit is broken.
You can contact our customer service and return it back to repair.
