Hi,
Sorry for the trouble caused.
Could you please first tell us your order number or buyer ID?

I purchased this item on Amazon.com, the order number: 104-6906331-5449068.

Is there a way to reset the unit to factory defaults?

Do you have an update to Marshmallow?

I performed a factory reset on the unit and that did not fix the problem, please send me the firmware as soon as possible.

Hi,
Here is the link of the original firmware for your unit RQ0264.
https://mega.nz/#!FEtQRahA!Oh084yfP8jPF ... JpEo-rPUJE
You just need to download it through your browser, copy the update.img file into the SD card or USB stick.
Insert the SD card or USB stick into the unit, go to the Settings--about device to click system updates, then it will automatically start the update.

I cannot get to settings, the touchscreen does not respond since the error began, is it possible to upgrade from diagnostic menu using USB?

Hi,
Sorry, I don't know that you could not enter the settings.
You can press the RST hole and power button at the same time, keep them about 5 seconds, then release the RST hole, and loose the power button.
The unit will automatically enter the recovery mode after a few seconds.
When you go to the recovery mode, you can choose to update the system from SD card or USB which is determined by the location of the update file. Hope some help.
Regards

I was able to successfully install the firmware update using the boot installer as you described. How can I avoid this from happening again?

After connecting to WiFi google updated the files once again, and I received the same error as before. All my Apps and Data were deleted during the firmware update, it is going to take hours to reinstall IGO with all the maps. Please tell me how should I proceed?
