Issues with 27-AQTU72-02

Dear Pumpkin Team,

last weekend I installed my brand-new 27-AQTU72-02 (ordered via your German WebStore). After figuring out the power cabling issues (switched +12V and permanent +12V are exchanged with each other - at least compared to the "standard setup" which works with most radios) so far most of the things are working.

But I still have some issues:
1) Some apps out of the playstore will not install (get the "infamous" error message "cannot install on SD or USB") - others work properly
2) Some apps (e.g. Navigation Software "Navigon") install but I´m unable to download maps because the app doesn´t allow to install on SD card - wants to install on internal memory)
3) Some basic Android functions don´t work - e.g. creating a 3rd (or 4th, 5th, ...) homescreen ....
4) WLAN is quite unstable - AccessPoint is located about 3m away (just separated by a window glass), reception is good but download rate sometimes < 100kbit/s (and no .. it´s not my internet connection).
5) To connect the steering wheel radio controls I would need a cable description. Is this available somewhere ?? (The manual shows nothing and the cabling description is good but not sufficient for this purpose)

So .. I have some questions:
1) Android 6 supports to use the SD card as internal memory. But there is no option in the standard available menues of the AQTU72 to "format the SD card as internal memory". How can I do this ? Is there any trick ?
2) Is this a known error ? Any update for the device available ? (PlatformVER: K20-2016/08/19(15:06:46)-5.00 / APPVER: K2001_JC_S211106.20160905.13575514.N0012 / MCUVER V1.3-FF01-20160812-A02-CAN0000-DVD00000000 TYP99)
3) Any guideline / Trick on how to access the "deeper android functions" ?

Hi,
1)There are some apps which are not compatible with our unit, that's related to both the unit system version and the app version, sorry about this.
2)You can copy the maps file from the external SD card to internal memory.
3)The home screen is the factory default design which may limit the number of the third party apps installation.
4)The WLAN may be affected by the signal distance and even the surrounding interference. You can share the hotspot, then connect it to go to internet.
5)This unit can only support the analog resistance steering wheel control, the wires which connect to your original steering wheel wires name "W+1" and "W+2". After you connect the swc wires, then you need go to Carsettings-->steerwheel to learn the keys.

OK ... some of the issues are fixed with the "November Update" (PlatformVER K20-2016/11/17 , APPVER: K2001_JC_S211106.20161121...) Purchased apps can now install properly (e.g Blitzerde Pro).
(ask Jammy for the link if required) -> I can recommend this update.

The a little bit poor sound of the radio (playing USB stick music) can be fixed using a different Player APP (I´m using PowerAmp which offers quite a lot of options / settings / equalizer).

Concerning the home screen: I´m currently thinking of installing a different app launcher ... let´s see wether this helps ...

I am experiencing lockups in amazon music, and other freezes.

It would be nice to try the latest firmware.
