I have just purchased the Ford fit 5.1 Quad Core Car Radio Double Din Stereo and by and large getting on ok with it. However I have ran into a few problems with bluetooth and in particular, whilst the phone and an OBD sensor were able to be paired in the Bluetooth screen. Most of the apps I have downloaded that want to use bluetooth pop up with an message asking me to allow it to be used but then do nothing and just hang or go to a blank screen without any devices listed.
One of these apps did suddenly start working and I was able to see the OBD adaptor in that and connect, but by and large most do not as if they don't have permission to access bluetooth (one actually says it is disabled behind the dialogue box that sits on screen).
Any suggestions?
New Headunit Bluetooth Issues
Re: New Headunit Bluetooth Issues
Hi,
This unit supports the common Bluetooth function, such as the hands free call, Bluetooth music and Bluetooth OBD.
It can not work with the bluetooth apps which need the pop up message, not like the smartphone.
Regards
