new idea for a Headunit

I have the following idea:

There are millions of cars that have only a single DIN headunit but would also like to use an Android Unit with Touchdisplkay. Example: my Car Renault Scenic 2.

Why not create a single DIN Headunit without display? The Unit has only the most importend buttons (for example: on/off, volume, telephone, home, back) and one or two slot (s) for SD card and one for a USB memory stick on the front. These keys could have a reasonable size, so you do not have to search a long time as a driver

The display is connected separately via the back of the Headunit with a cable. This cable should be approximately 1.5 m long, so that the display can be attached / installed in a place of its choice. All other functions can then be used via the display.

Advantage would be that you can buy control unit and display separately. The control unit is then identical, but you can choose a 7 ", 8", 10 "display (depending on the place).

thank you for your answer.

The other headunits I know, but it is not what I am looking for. When I use this headunit, my rocker is constantly in the way and the instruments of the air conditioning are concealed.
