C0257 wireless remote problem

Hello admins.

I have the C0257 radio. The trouble i am having is with the free supplied wireless remote. The volume up + button stops working and this is a replacement that you sent to me. The previous remote did the exact same thing. It wont relearn as the button will not respond . Note i have tried new battery. This is a problem as this unit has no volume buttons.

Sorry for the trouble caused.
Could you please tell us your order number or buyer ID?
For the wireless remote issue, please first check the SWC wires and reset the learn button on steering wheel study menu.
The external wireless remote had been out of stock for a long time, you can get a new similar wireless remote from the below link.

Does the remote work from infrared or Bluetooth?. Can i buy different better quality remotes that will work with my unit?
