Hi, any update on my replacement CANBUS ?
Also, my device has a new and rather annoying problem - it randomly stops seeing the SD-CARD. I can be playing music from the SD-CARD and it suddenly stops and the player says no music. I remove and re-insert the SD-CARD and nothing changes. Sometime later it starts working again.
Any ideas as I'm tempted to return the unit to Amazon for a refund because of the CANBUS and this issue ?

Hi,
If you don't mind, we can send you the replacement Canbus this week.
For the new SD card issue, please insert the SD card to another GPS slot to check if the unit could read it.
If not, it's the SD card itself problem.
If the GPS slot work with the SD card, the SD card slot may be broken, I think it's not a serious problem.
Because there are two USB cable and a GPS card slot for you to use maps and song/video.

Yes, it works in another slot but I haven't left it in there for any length of time so will try that, but if the SD slot is broken then unfortunately that's a faulty item so I would want to return it to Amazon - it may be a small problem, but it's a fault.

So, I've had it in the GPS slot for a week now and no problems. I've also got a blank one in the SD slot and I can see/read that, but as long as I don't play music from the SD slot the unit works. Play from SD and the player stops, the SD dismounts and I can't remount easily - reboot sometimes fixes, but sometimes doesn't.
Any ideas as if not I'd want to return it as faulty and get a new unit ?

Hi,
For the broken SD card slot, wen can send you a new replacement part with the SD card module, it's easy to finish.
And it's not a serious problem, I think it's the best solution for both of us. Hope your understanding.

How difficult is it to do as I assume it means taking the unit apart, which will invalidate warranty won't it ?
Also, I've been waiting for a new Canbus from you since 13th Jan so will I get either part any time soon ?

There is another solution you may consider, please contact our customer service colleague, you can get a new Canbus decoder box to check.
