kd c0248 help needed

hi guys
i finally got my head unit all installed today second time i started the car all i get on the screen is a glowing android symbol. am i right in assuming the firmware is corrupt? where can i get the files needed to restore my system to working?? it appeared to have kitkat 4.4 when i first turned it on if that helps
