Bluetooth keeps disconnecting

I bought this unit

It runs android 5.1. The bluetooth connection will not work with my phone which is a vodafone smart ultra 7. It connects for 1 second then disconnects, then reconnects for 1 second and disconnects again. The bluetooth works fine with a samsung galaxy S5 and also with a really cheap rugged phone I bought from Aldi.

Is there a software / firmware update available that might fix this or any other solution?

Hi,
Could you please tell us the android version of your vodafone smart ultra 7?
It's possible that the unit is not compatible with your phone.
Please send us the current system version on your unit, if there is a new one, I will send it to you.

The Vodafone smart ultra 7 runs Bluetooth 4.1 (Bluetooth Smart) here is a link to the manual and on page 83 you can see the Bluetooth specifications.
