Pumpkin GPS-problem / microphone problem

Hello,

i have a 8" Pumpkin 2-Din 800x640 Android 5.1 device for VW-Cars.

my problem is i cannot find a good gps Signal.
a test Shows that there is only 1 satellite with bad Connection.
No GPS-fix is possible.
Google Maps can't locate Position although my Internet Connection is good.

I tried to put the gps receiver on the top of my car, but still not working.



My other Problem is the delivered microphone.
The Person i'm phoning with can only understand me if i put it directly in front of my mouth.
I also tried a other microphone, but the Problem is the same.

Could you please tell us your order number or product SKU?
For the GPS signal issue, it maybe the GPS antenna problem, we can send you a new GPS antenna.
For the microphone issue, there are some interference factors around the car, normally we suggest close the window and turn up both the phone and unit volume, and you'd better put the microphone near to your driver position.

If the GPS antenna is damaged, should't be Google Maps be able to locate my Position by using WLAN?

The microphone is at the Position of the original microphone, it's directly in the Roof above the Driver. maybe 30cm distance.
Is there a way to turn the microphone Volum up or the sensibility?

Hi,
Your amazon order number can help us confirm the product SKU.
For the GPS antenna, normally the Google maps can use the wlan signal to locate, but the GPS antenna will improve the location and reduce the location time.
Sorry, there is not a settings to adjust the microphone volume or sensibility separately.

locating my Position by using wlan and Google maps doesn't work too.
I'd like to navigate only by using the gps antenna and a offline Navigation app

Is it possible that there might be a problem with Google Services or the firmware?

The google map work as it should when the unit get the good wlan signal.

You can try to update the google service, which is related to the Google map.

I'm not sure if the new GPS antenna will fix this problem, it may do some help.
Only the wlan signal is enough strong, the Google map can work as it should.
