Hi Jammy,
i installed both updates. It all worked.
But after this update the radio doesn't switch to rear view anymore.
Update to older firmware make no improvement.
I tried to install a older mcu image but that isn't allowed.
I need a update for the mcu so that rear view is working.
Update:
I found the error. The pin for reverse was bent!!!

Re: RQ0278E - Reboot
I have the same problem here, the radio starts and sometimes I can see the android launcher but it flashes white and reboots. It happens 90% of the time, sometimes it just works fine and stays without the reboot. I'm afraid it will corrupt the filesystem in one of these reboots.
Someone found a solution? It looks like the unit lacks power for a split second, maybe using some capacitor in the power input or something like that? Looks like a hardware problem, not software but i'm not an expert.
JFYI I've tried two different cable harnesses without luck, one with canbus decoder and one without it. Same result.

Hi uniring,
Sorry about this.
I'm not sure it's the software or hardware problem, we got a new firmware and mcu from the factory.
You can install it to check, just hope it helps.

Please download both the firmware and mcu through your browser, just copy the file into an empty (micro)SD card, make sure the file is in root of the card.(ie, when you open the card, the file is directly located there)
Then please insert the sd card with the firmware file and mcu into the GPS slot.
The unit will recognize the update firmware automatically and pop out a dialog, choose "wipe data and format flash", then click Install, the unit will finish the update after a few minutes. Here is a picture for your reference.
After the firmware updating, then go to the settings--about tablet to click MCU update.
If this does not help, you can return it back to us.
Regards

Re: RQ0278E - Reboot
I regret the money I paid for the radio, nothing to 100% for the work. Throws SD card not properly tuned radio, GPS long loads, sometimes reversing camera shows the image sometimes not. TV the same.

Re: RQ0278E - Reboot
For anyone else having the reboot at start problem, can you please post some info about your car? Make, model, does it have push start or full key ignition?
I've found that my car, 2014 Mazda 6 with push start will reboot the radio every time if i just get in and start the car as normal (foot on clutch and press start button). If, however, i start the car to ACC (press start without clutched depressed) the radio fast boots every time. I can then press clutch and start button again and engine starts.
This adds about 2 seconds to the startup of the car, but is obviously better than waiting 40 seconds for full reboot.
Basically, the reboot problem is the cars fault, not the head unit.
