Don't forget that you need to disable your SIM Pin.

Also check if you have the right provider settings (SIM Setup -> networks). My "mobilcom debitel" setting was not correct. I always had a "!" sign on my 3g signal. So I put the SIM into my smartphone and copied all the correct info into the radio. Then it instantly worked. Signal strength and overall signal quality on this radio is pretty good for WiFi / 3G / GPS. Even though my GPS antenna is just lying somewhere behind my radio. I'm really surprised.

I installed the upgrade on my radio but now the DAB app is missing.

I found some dab.apk here on the forum and installed it on the radio but this DAB app doesn't work. It looks completely different then the DAB app previously installed on the radio. The DAB app doesn't react to any buttons pressed on the UI. It doesn't even search for channels.

Is there also an APK for Torque?

And is there a way to improve DAB+ performance?
DAB reception is very bad. I tried two different antennas, the one that came with the radio and another one from a different vendor (also one that is attached to the windscreen).
Any ideas how to improve DAB quaility?

edit: 3g works now after I disabled the SIM pin using my smartphone and after setting up the APN on the radio!

For 3g card problem,please connect local operator to ensure your card is 3g WCDMA network model.
We need to confirm this first and send you the 3g model cable.

Few more problems I'm seeing

1. Today 3G stopped working. It didn't find service. I had to completey power down the unit, afterwards it worked again.
2. Sometimes GPS stops working. GPS itself works fine (as shown in the settings and in the GPS Info App) but other apps doesn't update the position anymore (like google maps). This happened with the previous and the new firmware. After a complete power down it usually works again.

For the Google map problem,Google map is a kind of online app,so the location is influenced by the net.
Besides,Google map occurs quite large RAM especially after it run for a long time.
