Issues accessing Recovery Menu for KD-C0109

I have a pumpkin 1DIN KD-C109 android 4.4.4 radio and I want to update the firmware (actually I want to try a custom firmware, as I saw working perfectly in a similar HU). My problem is to access the recovery menu. Making the usual procedure (described in other topic and confirmed in others forums) I need to press both power and reset buttons for at least 5 sec, release the reset button, keeping pressing the power button for (at least) more 5 sec and then release it. After some seconds the HU enters in the recovery menu. All this things work perfect, I see the recovery menu but immediately thereafter the display flips inside and no matter I do, I cannot keep the display outside. There are any special trick to do? All the procedure is made only with the dcc power i.e. car key off.

Hi,
Regarding your issue, please first unplug the power cable and connect it again.
Could you please tell us if you intalled the custom firmware when you entered the recovery mode?
Normally we don't suggest our client do that, just preventing this similar issue happening.

Sorry for the delay in my answer. I really forgot to check this forum because I decided (for now) do not upgrade the firmware. Maybe try to do that in future and in such case your information will be valuable. Thank you very much for your attention.
