the information is not enough.Could you take a picture of your unit to us.
You can ask your brother his order number or you can find the SKU number on the package box if you have still remained it .

Easy connect does not work with my Galaxy S8 even after the update. Running Android 7.0.

Same issue here with Easy Connected and my Galaxy S7 - Android 7.0 ... My Radio is the "PUMPKIN 1 Din Android 6.0 Moniceiver" - CN10-01201B-01A

Software does not recognize my phone connected via USB with developer mode and usb debugging active. A message on my phone tells me that the radio is not able to acces files on my phone via USB.
