no display on headrest monitor

I can not get my video output to display on my double dim 7 inch radio to my headrest monitor, is there a special setting to make this work, please help.

I can't get video out to my drop down monitor either. It plays when the DVD is playing, but not on anything else.

That is the unit I have and DVD video is displayed on rear monitors from video output but nothing else is displayed (video loss when DVD is not playing).

Seems quite redundant to have video output which is ONLY for DVD video with a "smart" head unit? That is something I would expect on an older unit, not the latest v6 Android units. While it does not state it will play all formats of video from the output, it also does not state the video output is LIMITED to only DVD playback. I specifically chose a v6 Android unit thinking (stupidly I now see) that the latest version would have the latest features but appears it's an older hardware unit with updated OS

Eonon make almost the exact same unit, V6 Android but video output supports ALL displays. What a disappointment this choice turned out to be. Will have to rip it out and install another one.
