Hello,
is it possible that Pumpkin provides the API for accessing the radio specific hardware so that we can create our own apps that support the radio specific featrures? Espacially I'm talking about:
- external signals comming directly from the vehicle harness (e.g ignition-signal)
- CAN - some radios are providing a CAN interface
- FM-radio
Pumpkin may also benefit, users that have experience in Android development can develop App for the radio and improve the user expirence a lot. Especially because you decided to use Android as an open platform. Please give us a possibility to enhance our radios even more.
Regards,
David

***HINT***: To all complaining about slow units: Pumpkin is limiting the maximum CPU frequency to 1200 MHz (at least for my radio-type) although they are advertised with 1600 MHz ***HINT***

Hi,
our unit support receive some signals such as reverse and car info from the car.
The unit support FM-radio function itself but not a CAN interface.

Re: API to access Radio specific hardware
I was asking for the possibility to let developers use these signals by an API so they can develop theyr own Apps by using these signals
