Re: Display brightness is very dark

If someone else thinks his display is bright enough, than please test it in summer
when the sun is shining outside the car.
But the display in the car should still be in the shaddow.
Don't look from an higher angle (top down) to the display
Look straight from the front side to the screen.

In this constelation the brightness quality is VERY bad!
On all of this devices
I tested it with different ones.

Like i wrote... it's only a software problem. It's not the display (hardware) itself.

Just like the other topics on this forum Pumpkin does not seem to care...

:!:***HINT***: To all complaining about slow units: Pumpkin is limiting the maximum CPU frequency to 1200 MHz (at least for my radio-type) although they are advertised with 1600 MHz ***HINT*** :!:

Hi all,
For the brightness dim problem, please check whether the orange wire of the ISO cable is connected to the positive hole of the car lamp or not.
If yes, please try to disconnect it.

Hi,
If the orange wire of the ISO cable is connected to the positive hole of the car lamp, when you turn on the lamp, the screen will dim down automatically.

We are asking for increasing of the brightness, not to dim it down...the brightness of the units is to low espacially in summer with high sun insulation

It has nothing to do with the orange wire!
If you connect the ornage wire then you will see nearly nothing anymore!
If you don't connect it... the display is still to dark.

It's only a configuration thing inside of the android system

Very sad that nobody cares

Hi,
sorry for misunderstand you.The max brightness we tested on the model unit is require for the our standard.
Please notice, when the sunshine is shining to the unit, you can hardly see the screen clearly. It is the same like the phone screen under the sunshine.
If you still think the brightness is too dark to accept, please try to take a picture about the screen brightness when the sun is shining to the unit.
Hope your kind understanding.
Regards

You can see that the display is much too dark
These pictures were made in the SHADDOW in my car
I tested this on two radios (same model)

If this is your STANDARD than it's really sad!

We discussed this now ten times here.... did you forget everything in the beginning of this threat?
