VW T5

Hi

I purchased a new Pumpkin 27-AQTU72-02 and self installed using a QuadLock to ISO converter. Unit powers on but does not respond to ignition ON / OFF commands and remains on at all times. I can turn the unit OFF from the power button on the front panel but this appears only to place the unit in standby and drains the battery to flat after a few days.

This may have something to do with the CANBUS options but not sure what to change or look at. The vehicle is a VW T5 Transporter 2007. I have tried changing the permanent live and ignition live around but this had no effect.

Please can anyone help!!

Hi,
whether the red wire of the ISO cable get 12V power or not decides whether the unit power on or not.
So please try to connect the red wire to the 12V pole which can get power while the ignition on and cutage while the ignition off.
