Install mob interconnection service error

Recently purchased a pumpkin 6 head unit.

Can't get it to connect to my phone.

Tried various easy connected versions and have mobile connection.

Then I get the error above as per attached photo of error message.

Phone goes into driving mode, but nothing happens on the head unit. See screen shot from phone.

Phone is Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 6.0.1.

Please help me with this, spent a lot of wasted time sat in my van trying to get this to work.

Debugging mode is active. Only other thing is that I get a message on the phone that it cannot transfer files...

you need to make your phone in the USB debug mode.

sorry,i ignored those sentence.
So please first confirm the USB line is original or can transfer data. Some lines just support charge.

It is the original cable. I am running Android 6.0.1?

So is this the correct easy connected version you sent?

I'll try a shorter cable maybe, but this is the same cable I use between my laptop and phone with no issues?

HI,

I already downloaded and installed the version in the link previously as per my research after the Mirrorlink sold as part of this radio not working.

I have also tried a shorter data cable and my friends phon who is running android 7 and hte same thing happens. This is the phone going into driving model, but hte head unit still not connecting.

Please help me out. I really want to mirror my device to get music and this was one main funtion I wanted working and thinking of sending it back to be honest.

We didn't meet this problem.
You can try to change to the rear USB slot of the unit.

Tried to go to the back of the slot and not solved. Same thing happens. Phone goes into drive mode but head unit still saying install Mob interconnection service.

Should I try a different app or something. Or should I get a another head unit?

Hi,
you can try to un-install the easyconnect app on your phone and connect to the unit and then automatically install the app on your phone again.
