CN10-02201B - Modify or disable app launcher bar?

For the CN10-02201B, is there a way to modify the default applications used by the launcher bar application? For example, with the navigation app, you can set the default through car settings. I would like to do the same with the music app, to have it default to the Shuttle music player.

If that is not possible, or in addition to, is there a way to disable or hide the app launcher bar altogether. My preference would be to have more room to display widgets. That way you could have both a what's playing widget and a navigation widget showing at the same time on the screen.

If neither of these are possible, I would highly suggest them as feature requests for the next software update (hopefully you will offer a firmware update sometime soon for the CN10-02201B).

It is impossible to modify the default music app.
I don't understand what do you point to when you said the app launcher bar.Could you show me a picture to recognize it.

Sorry, I guess the correct terminology for it is, the home screen app dock. The static set of 5 icons that reside at the bottom of the home screen (Navigation, FM Radio, Music, Video Player, etc...). The buttons in the dock are referred to as Action Launchers/Shortcuts, and typically can be set to launch the application of your choice, unless the factory locks them down. The "Launcher" itself is the home screen layout in general, which controls the theme of the home page, the look and feel of the icons, and the app dock configuration. Again this can be fully customizable out of the box, such as in stock Android, or locked down by the factory. I guess a Launcher replacement is in order, such as: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... cher&hl=en. I'll have to try it and see if it meets my preferences.
