Android 7.0 easy connect issue

I purchased the Pumpkin 6.95 double din with android 6.0 marshmallow software. The phone I have is a Samsung galaxy s7 active with android 7.0 software. I have read another thread with the link to download a software update for easy connect, but when I tried downloading it on the head unit thru mega it still says no access to serial number. Does my unit require a specific update or is easy connect just not capable to sync with android 7.0 yet?

I purchased the unit thru amazon so the only information I have is the order number thru amazon (112-8550887-1145033). Is there a way to find my buyer id?

Thank you, that last link was the proper update and now it syncs properly. However since downloading that, the unit isn't able to be found by any of my devices for bluetooth. Is there an software update for the Bluetooth as well?

It is strange.There is not software update for bluetooth now.
You can try to reset the unit.Does the unit can find your devices for bluetooth?
